Rotary Club Welcomes Service Dog Trainer For Veterans Day
The trainer brought along her a greater Swiss mountain dog for her talk.

The Milford Rotary Club welcomed area dog trainer Christina Taddei Rossetti and one of her dogs-in-training for its Veterans Day presentation.
According to a post on the Rotary Club website, Rossetti is a well-known local trainer who currently operates BASK (Balance And Service K9s) “a non profit service dog foundation that provides and supports specifically trained assistance dogs enhance mobility and independence through canine partnerships.”
Rossetti explained that BASK specifically trains dogs to provide mobility assistance, retrieve dropped items and brace against their owners to prevent a fall. The 7-month-old greater Swiss mountain dog she brought to the presentation was one of three dogs currently being trained by the organization.
