SOUND OFF: Main St. Construction: Good or Bad?

New standards caused the street widths to eliminate turning lanes in the process of making downtown more pedestrian- and handicapped-friendly, Town Engineer Michael Santora told us in May.

So while foot traffic will get easier, driving is not. It's been a couple of months since we last checked in with the project. Has it gotten easier to navigate or is it still an avoid-at-all-cost area of town?
