Team Micky Ward Charities to Sponsor Annual Bike Run, Barbecue

Team Micky Ward Charities will sponsor its eighth, annual Bike Run/Barbecue on Saturday, Sept. 10 at the Italian American Vets club in Milford. Biker registration is 10:30-11:30 a.m., and the barbecue will be served around 3 p.m. The cost is $20 for general admission, including bikers, and a $10 fee for passengers. Throughout the day, there will be raffles, games, live bands (We Were Astronauts and Jambag, featuring Ricky Robidoux), along with autograph signing by Micky Ward. At this event, Team Micky Ward Charities will honor local people that have touched our lives and hearts: Lily Haley (Smiles for Lily), Paula Lampasona, Matt Denice, Wally Seaver, Elia Fontechio, Jake Gallerani and Jackie Gray.

The Bike run will start at the Italian Vets in Milford and will leave at noon. The first stop will be Waterfront Mary’s in Webster; the second stop will be at the Tradesman Pub in Milford; the last stop will be back at the Vets for a barbecue, music and raffles.
