HOLMDEL, NJ - Coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, which means there is even more reason to celebrate this Independence Day. July 4 is almost here, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you.

Aberdeen: A fireworks display will take place on July 2 at Veterans Memorial Park alongside food vendors, live music, bounce houses, face painting and more. Read more: Aberdeen's Fireworks Return July 2

Atlantic Highlands: Fireworks are scheduled at the Atlantic Highlands Municipal Harbor at 9:45 p.m. on July 2. A rain date is set for July 3.

Colts Neck: There will be a fireworks display on July 2 at Bucks Mill Park as part of the Independence Day Celebration with festivities to start at 6 p.m. Other facets of the event include live music from the Colts Neck Community Band, Grandma Charlotte's Great American Apple Pie Contest, a flag ceremony with the NWS Earle Color Guard, food vendors and more.

Freehold: Freehold Township Day will take place from 4 to 11 p.m. on July 10 at Michael J. Tighe Park (65 Georgia Road). The "Don't Forget the Vets" car show will begin at 3 p.m. with a fireworks show to conclude the festivities at 9 p.m. Read more: Freehold Township Day Relaunches In 2021

Holmdel: Bell Works will host a fireworks display this July 7 after sundown. Read more: Bell Works In Holmdel To Resume Fireworks Show In 2021

Jackson: From July 2 to 4, fireworks will be set off at Six Flags Great Adventure starting at 10 p.m.

Long Branch: Long Branch city officials made the decision to postpone the fireworks show originally planned for July 4 just a few days after a social media-fueled party attended by thousands saw four people get arrested at the beachfront. The city will be announcing the make-up date for the fireworks in the future.

Matawan: The celebration will kick off at Lake Lefferts Park on July 2. There'll be food, music and, of course, fireworks at dusk. Read more: Independence Day Celebration: Matawan's Fireworks Return July 2

Update: Now rescheduled to July 9.

Manasquan: On Friday, July 2 from 3 to 11 p.m., a fireworks show sponsored by Leggets can be viewed from the boardwalk. Other festivities include a bike parade and a Billy Lawlor concert.

Woodbridge: Woodbridge's fireworks show has been postponed to July 5 at Alvin P. Williams Park in Sewaren. Gates open at 4 p.m. The Nerds will still perform Monday before and after the show, joined by local band Power Train.

Union Beach: Fireworks will be set off at dusk along the beachfront on July 3. A rain date is set for July 5.
