Water Main Break Closes Holland Road In Holmdel Friday Morning

HOLMDEL, NJ - Holland Road is closed between South Holland and Laurel Avenue due to the water main break, authorities said Friday morning.

The road will be closed until further notice, the Holmdel Township Police Department said in a statement. NJ American Water will be completing repairs for the next several hours.

Motorists are asked to follow the posted detour.

A similar water main break occurred on Holland Road between South Holland Road and Laurel Avenue on June 30.

Earlier this month, a water main break was reported on June 24 on Williams Way off of Van Schoick Road. The road was "completely shut down due to the possibility of the roadway being undermined," police said.
