Boil-Water Advisory For These Holmdel Streets Monday

HOLMDEL, NJ — Holmdel's weather-related problems continue to worsen on Monday, April 15. First, many homes in the south side of Holmdel lost power after the early-morning thunderstorms. Then a tree fell on power lines near Schanck Road, causing power outages around town, including in front of Holmdel High School.

Now, a boil-water advisory has been put in place due to electrical outages near Line Road.

New Jersey American Water issued a boil-water advisory as a precautionary measure only for residents on the following streets in Holmdel on Monday, April 15:

Bernard Drive
Goldsmith Drive
Aufra Place
Clark Way
Malbern Drive
Tara Court
Deerpath Lane, from Line Road to Fieldcrest Court
Fieldcrest Court
Tranquility Court
Stoecker Road
Crowfield Lane
Line Road, from Delwood Drive to Cindy Lane
Cindy Lane, from Line Road to Jill Drive
Jill Drive

Please note that this is a standard precaution that is taken whenever there is loss of pressure in water mains. There is no evidence of any contamination. New Jersey American Water will provide information as to when the advisory is lifted.
