Christmas At Longstreet Farm Takes Trip To Past In Holmdel
Longstreet Farm in Holmdel - Monmouth County's living history facility - takes holiday visitors back to distant past where all was homemade.
HOLMDEL, NJ - Monmouth County's historic Longstreet Farm will host a number of free Christmas programs throughout the remainder of the month:
Upcoming is a 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 16 Christmas Sing-A-Long at the Longstreet Farm family farmhouse. Rich Garland is on the piano.
On Dec. 16 and Dec. 17, from noon to 3 p.m., Santa will stop by Longstreet Farm Visitors Center. Enjoy an old-fashioned Victorian Christmas visit with the big man, then take a walk to the farmhouse and have a cup of cider.

Also, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., exhibitors will demonstrate cooking on the wood stove. There is not a microwave oven in sight.
