Former Holmdel Motor Inn Owner Dies at Age 86

Vera Yurecko 86 of Holmdel, New Jersey passed away on Monday Nov. 18, 2013. Vera was born on Oct. 23, 1927 in Maplewood, New Jersey.

She met her husband Peter and they were married for 62 wonderful years. They were the past proprietors of the Holmdel Motor Inn in Holmdel. Vera was active in the Garden State Depression Glass club, and she enjoyed Gardening, loved collecting antiques, but most of all spending precious time with her husband Peter.

Vera and Peter wintered in Florida for many years enjoying their retirement and spending time with many friends. Vera was the beloved wife of Peter and also survived by her sister Ethel Shultz.

Vera will be reposing at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Service 1735 Rt 35 Middletown, New Jersey 07748 on Friday Nov. 22, 2013 from 4-8pm. Prayer service will take place at 7pm. Entombment Saturday morning at 10:30 am Holmdel Cemetery.
