Brick Man Fakes MRI for Pain Meds in Holmdel, Police Say

A Brick man is being accused of deceiving a Holmdel doctor to get pain medication, according to police.

Wayne Laborante, 23, of Brick allegedly faked an MRI scan in order to get a doctor to write a prescription for back pain. Laborante also allegedly altered his medical file to deceive the doctor, police say.

The Brick resident was released on $10,000 bail.
