Hazlet Community Band Releases Summer 2021 Show Dates
Pack your own lawn chairs and enjoy the stylings of Hazlet's new community band, which is playing free shows in local parks all summer.
HAZLET, NJ - Hazlet Pops, the township’s newly-formed community concert band, is slated to play a string of free shows at local parks this summer - and you’re invited.
The outdoor concert series will provide hour-long shows featuring local talent and a different theme each performance.
Under the leadership of Director Raymond Lahaye and Associate Director Carmine Fiumano, the band is scheduled to play four concerts through the end of July (see showtime information below).

Each performance will start at 7 p.m. Audience members are asked to bring their own chairs.

July 1 - "Patriotic Night: Honoring Our Heroes" at Veterans Park.
July 8 - "Give Our Regards to Broadway!" at Eighth Street Park. Directly following the concert there will be an outdoor movie showing of Mamma Mia.
July 22 - "Back to the Classics" at Veterans Park. This is the Raritan HS Alumni Night honoring former RHS band conductor Fred Mosher. Directly following the concert, there will be a special performance from the Pete Wikul Band.
July 29 - "Cinema Spectacular!" at Leocadia Court Park. Directly following the concert there will be an outdoor movie showing of the Disney movie Moana.
