Hazlet Library Remains Closed Until July 9 Over A/C Problems

The Middle Road location remains closed due to air conditioning issues, officials said. Items due through July 9 will not incur fines.

HAZLET, NJ - The Hazlet Library on Middle Road remains closed through this week due to the ongoing heat wave and issues with air conditioning in the building, officials said.

In a July 1 municipal update, officials noted that the Hazlet Library will remain closed through July 9 while the township awaits the delivery of repair parts.

The book drop is also closed for the duration of this week. Fines will not be assessed on items due from through July 9 and patrons are asked to hold onto their items until the library reopens.
