Hazlet Middle School student Bridget Fahy battled her way into the final six at the Scripps Spelling Bee Regional Finals, according to the Hazlet district website.
Over 20,000 students were entered into the spelling competition. Scripps is the nation's largest and longest running educational promotion and is run on a not-for-profit basis with the help of local sponsors.  Â
