Hazlet Police Searching For Owners Of 50 Pounds Of Pot
Police say one Hazlet resident got an unexpected delivery this week.

On Tuesday, police were called to a Hazlet home after an unexpected delivery.
According to a Facebook post from Hazlet police:
The resident told police they were not expecting any packages, and the ones that were delivered were addressed to someone who did not live at that home.

So, police took possession of several boxes to try to figure out to whom the packages should have been delivered.
Officers opened the packages to try to find a packing list containing information on the addressee.

Instead, they found about 50 pounds of marijuana inside.
“If you were expecting these packages and would like to claim them, please come to Police Headquarters,” police said. “In the meantime our detectives will be working with County, State, and Federal Law Enforcement agencies to locate the owner of this property.”
