Hazlet Schools Go To Online Appointments For Parent Conferences

The Hazlet School system wants parents to make appointments online for upcoming parent-teacher conferences.

HAZLET, NJ - The Hazlet School District will be using an online appointment system for upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences, which are set for Jan. 22 through Jan. 24.

Parents may schedule conference appointments through the Realtime parent portal, beginning Jan. 4.

Directions to schedule appointments can be found on your child's school website.

Here are the directions for making appointments with Raritian High School teachers, for example:

Log onto the parent portal and select "teacher pages" link on the upper left side of the page.

Click on the "schedule conference" link next to the name of each teacher with whom you would like to
schedule an appointment.

Choose a desired date and time for your conference. If your child is in a co-teaching class with two teachers, you will see conference dates and times listed for both teachers. Select just one appointment and select just the teacher who is listed on your child’s schedule.

Check "request conference" at the bottom of the page to complete the process. The selected time is just a request. In order to confirm, the teacher must accept your request.

Check the portal to see if the teacher accepts your request by following the first two directions. You will either notice an accepted checkmark next to your requested date or you will need to select another time.

Click the "view scheduled conferences" button to print a list of your confirmed conferences.

If you need to change your appointment, email the teacher prior to the day of the conference. If you are unable to access the Realtime parent portal, contact your child’s counselor.
