Help Clean Up Sandy Hook Beach This Saturday

The 31st Annual Beach Sweep is a great way to get in one last beach day and give back at the same time.

SANDY HOOK, NJ-- Looking to squeeze in one last day on the beach, and get some community service done too? This weekend, you can do both at the 31st Annual Beach Sweep at Sandy Hook.

Volunteers will help clean Sandy Hook Beach, which is a National Park. NPS Deputy Director Denise Ryan, Gateway National Recreation Area, Clean Ocean Action will clean alongside community volunteers.

Volunteers should meet at Sandy Hook, Lot D. The clean-up will run from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. For more information and registration, click here.
