HFEE - Holmdel Foundation for Educational Excellence Raises $15K

The Holmdel Foundation for Educational Excellence held an online auction and raffle with over 120 baskets that were donated by local businesses and community members. Baskets included exciting items such as a $200 gift card to The Grove, numerous gift certificates to local restaurants such as Barrel & Roost, Albarino, Cuzin's Sea Food Clam Bar, Patricia's of Holmdel. and many more. Spa, salon, wellness, and gym gift cards as well as children's sports and music activities were among the prizes.

Bidders were able to win private home dinners prepared by celebrity Chefs, golf outings, and a variety of collectibles. HFEE raised $15,000 thanks to the support of all the local businesses and Holmdel families that participated in this "Online Gala".

The Holmdel Foundation for Educational Excellence was founded in 1996 to bring private funding to Holmdel Public Schools. The Foundation’s goal is to enhance the educational experience of each and every public school student by fostering innovative programs in the areas of Academics, Athletics, and the Arts, and providing funds for the purchase of equipment and other materials used in these programs. The Foundation also enables faculty members and students to undertake a number of unique classroom projects at all grade levels by awarding numerous classroom mini-grants. HFEE has gifted over $1,500,000 to Holmdel Public Schools since 2005.
