Highway 36 North Closed In Hazlet Due To Leaning Pole: Cops
The main road is closed between Poole Avenue and Middle Road due to a leaning telephone pole, authorities said.
HAZLET, NJ - Highway 36 North is closed in Hazlet, authorities said Monday.
In a news alert to residents, the Hazlet Township Police Department said that the main road is closed between Poole Avenue and Middle Road due to a leaning telephone pole in the highway.
JCP&L has been notified, the update said.

As of 12:45 p.m. on Monday, fewer than five power outages were reported in the Holmdel-Hazlet area, according to JCP&L. In Monmouth County, 3,022 total outages were reported, with Freehold Township reporting 1,354 power outages and Manalapan reporting 676.
The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory through 3 p.m. on Monday. Winds are expected to hit 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
