Holmdel To Auction Off a Mercedes, Motorcycle, Bucket of Tools, Filing Cabinets

Holmdel Township is holding a public auction of furniture, office equipment, municipal vehicles, as well an impounded Mercedes and Kawasacki Ninja motorcyle and other vehicles.

The auction runs from 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 22 through Tuesday, 7 p.m. on April 29, according to a public notice. 

The auction was previously advertised to begin April 14, but the date was moved.

You can also go see the items for sale in person at Town Hall, 4 Crawfords Corner Rd, on Thursday, April 24 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There you will find office furniture consisting of desks, overhead cabinets, stackable chairs, wheeled office chairs, file cabinets, reception area furniture, tables, Sharp digital copier, Canon copier, Aiwa 19" TV/w/VHS, Epson printer, manual handheld tools, Nikon camera, and an Alpha trailer speed monitor.

The rules
According to the public notice, published April 14 in the Asbury Park Press: 
Sales made to highest bidder. Everything being sold on "as is" "where is" basis with no guarantees expressed or implied. All sales are final. All payments must be made in cash or cashier's check at US GovBid, a division of Auction Liquidation Services, 1 Industrial Way West, Bldg. A, Eatontown, NJ within 24 hours of auction closing. Removal of all items shall be no later than 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2014. The Township of Holmdel reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Township reserves the right to remove or add items to the auction list in this notice. Holmdel Township employees, officials and immediate family members are not eligible to bid.
