The Holmdel Recreation Department is offering an opportunity and a mailbox so local children can write to Santa to make their case for toys.

HOLMDEL, NJ - Local boys and girls can make their cases for the nice list under a program implemented by the township Recreation Department. The free program is already under way and will be in place until Dec. 17. Participating children are asked to write their letters, paying specific attention to writing their names and addresses clearly. The completed letters should be deposited in the special mailbox at town hall. No postage is necessary - as is the case with all letters to the North Pole this time of year -and the mailbox is open all day.

Town Hall is located at 4 Crawfords Corner Road. Call 732-946-2820, extension 1225 or email recreation@holmdeltownship-nj.com for more information.
