Holmdel/Hazlet July 4 Fireworks For 2017

This year, Hazlet's fireworks will be Sunday, July 2 with a rain date of Monday, July 3.

HAZLET, NJ — Holmdel no longer has Fourth of July fireworks, but Hazlet Township puts on an annual show each year. This year, Hazlet's fireworks will be Sunday, July 2 with a rain date of Monday, July 3.

As always, the fireworks will be held in Veterans' Memorial Park in Hazlet. The fireworks go off at dusk, usually around 9:15 p.m., the Township said. There will be a DJ and concession trucks, including trucks selling hot dogs and ice cream.

Keansburg Amusement Park will hold its fireworks July 3 and 4 at dusk this year. Neighboring Aberdeen's Independence Day celebration will take place on Saturday, July 1 this year, also at dusk at Fireman’s Field, located at the corner of Lloyd Rd. and Gerard Avenue.
