Holmdel’s Crawfords Corner Road To Close For Paving This Week

HOLMDEL, NJ - Crawfords Corner Road is slated to be closed to vehicular traffic this week due to road work, authorities said Monday.

Weather permitting, the road will be closed April 5 through 7 for paving and milling from Middletown Road to Roberts Road. The work zone will be from Catbird Alley to Deercrest Drive.

According to a statement from the township earlier this year, the fourth and fifth phases of the project will consist of the mill and overlay of Crawfords Corner Road, installation of curb, replacement of existing storm inlets using existing castings and driveway restoration. Construction hours for April 5 and 6 are 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Crews are slated to work April 7 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Motorists are asked to follow posted detours or make appropriate arrangements.
