Holmdel School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Holmdel is September 6. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Holmdel Township School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 11/22: Half Day for Students and Staff
• 11/23 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving)

December

• 12/22: Half Day for Students and Staff
• 12/25 - 1/1: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1: No School (Winter Break)
• 1/12: Half Day for Students
• 1/15: No School (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day)

February

• 2/16: No School for Students
• 2/19: No School (Presidents’ Day)

March

• 3/29: Half Day for Students and Staff
• 3/30 - 4/6: No School (Spring Break)

April

• 4/2 - 4/6: No School (Spring Break)

May

• 5/25: Half Day for Students and Staff
• 5/28: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/29: Last Day of School
