Holmdel Votes Republican Down the Ticket

Holmdel voters overwhelmingly went straight down the ticket for the Republican party, according to county election results.

In the governors race, Gov. Chris Christie garnered 3,572 votes in Holmdel while Buono took in 986.

Sen. Joe Kyrillos also took the majority in the 13th district with 3,229 votes to Joe Marques' 1,117. While Kyrillos took a large majority of Monmouth County, sections of Aberdeen Township went to Marques.

Amy Handlin and Declan O'Scanlon won the 13th district assembly race, and in Holmdle there were a few hundred votes of difference per township district between the incumbents and candidates Allison Friedman and Matthew Morehead.

Holmdel also overwhelmingly re-elected Sheriff Shaun Golden and Freeholders Thomas Arnone and Serena DiMaso.
