‘Jersey Shore’ Star ‘The Situation’, Wife Expecting First Child
The Holmdel residents announced the big news on Tuesday with the caption: "We have a Baby Situation."

HOLMDEL, NJ - Holmdel resident and “Jersey Shore” cast member Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, alongside wife Lauren Sorrentino, is expecting his first child in May.
The couple announced the news on Tuesday via the reality star’s Instagram, posed in the kitchen of their Holmdel abode with their dog Mosey. On the counter read “Baby Sorrentino May 2021″ etched in flour alongside holiday cookie cutters.
“We have a Baby Situation,” reads the post caption.

“Our biggest blessing is on (its) way,” Lauren said in her own post, unveiling the baby’s own Instagram handle, @itsbabysituation, which already boasts over 32,000 followers.
“The Situation”, 38, is a Manalapan native and graduate of Manalapan High School. Lauren and Mike met in college, but broke up before Mike joined the original cast of “Jersey Shore”. They reunited when the series ended in 2012, eventually settling in Long Branch.

The Sorrentinos tied the knot at the Legacy Castle in Pompton Plains in 2018 as part of a wedding special for MTV’s “Jersey Shore Family Vacation."
The couple moved to a $1.8 million seven-bedroom, 10-bathroom mansion in Holmdel in 2019.
