Join us in voting for Mayor Greg Buontempo
A letter to the residents of Holmdel from Deputy Mayor Weber & Committeeman Santhana
Dear Holmdel residents,
After several tumultuous years in Holmdel, we finally embarked on a positive change last year with the residents of Holmdel electing us, Independents, to the township committee.
The changes we instituted are only possible due to the leadership and strong support from Mayor Greg Buontempo. He was essential to creating the new citizens committees, improving transparency, and altering the format of the township meetings so residents can speak about agenda items before a vote by the committee.

We are also impressed with his exemplary leadership during the on-going pandemic crisis. He worked tirelessly to inform the public on the latest news related to the pandemic each day during the shutdown and collaborated with our first responders, police, and the hospitals in the area on behalf of our residents. He also spearheaded our community donation drive for critical PPE.
His stewardship was essential in initiating one of the largest road improvement programs in Holmdel’s history, keeping our municipal taxes flat and getting our firehouse and fire truck initiative underway.

We believe Holmdel municipal elections should be free from party or outside influence. Holmdel needs experienced and effective leadership and you deserve better than prior administrations!
As Independents we have a vested interest in continuing on the road to transparency and good government. That road requires the leadership of and partnership with Mayor Buontempo.
We urge you to re-elect Mayor Greg Buontempo.
Sincerely,
Cathy Weber - Deputy Mayor
Prakash Santhana – Township Committeeman
