Starting Wednesday, Laurel Avenue in Homldel between Rt. 35 and Holland Road has been closed in order for NJ Transit to repair the railroad bridge that crosses over Laurel Avenue. As Patch has reported, that part of Laurel Ave. will be closed for two to three months. Detour routes have been marked out using either Kings Highway in Middletown (by the Sears) or Bethany Road in Hazlet (near K- Mart).
