The overpass will be closed starting at 6 a.m. Monday and will remain closed until approximately May 6.

Aberdeen, NJ - Starting Monday, April 18, the Lloyd Road overpass for the Garden State Parkway will be closed.

The overpass will be closed starting at 6 a.m. Monday and will remain closed until approximately May 6. This closure will have a major impact on traffic entering and exiting Garden State Parkway Exits 117 and 117A as well as drivers that use Lloyd Road between Rts. 34 and 35. No traffic will be able to travel from Clark Street onto Lloyd Road, either. During the first phase of work, Lloyd Road will be closed at the intersection of Gerard Avenue to ALL vehicular traffic traveling southbound towards Rt. 34 and G.S.P Exit 117 south. All vehicular traffic includes emergency vehicles as well.

The Lloyd Road bridge is closed because the bridge deck over the Parkway is being replaced. The New Jersey Turnpike Authority, along with Joseph M. Sanzari Inc. Construction Company, will be doing the bridge deck repair and resurfacing project.
