Man Charged With Hazlet Bank Robbery
A 33-year-old Middlesex County man has been charged with the robbery of a Hazlet bank, authorities said.

A 33-year-old Middlesex County man has been charged with the robbery of a Hazlet bank, authorities said.
According to a news release from acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni:
Stephen Fedorka III, 33, of Laurence Harbor, was arrested Sunday by Hazlet police on an armed robbery charge.

Around 9:45 a.m. Oct. 28, he entered the Santander Bank on Route 35, gave the teller a note that demanded cash and indicated he had a gun. He ran away with the money.
He was identified as the suspect that day and a complaint was signed against him, after an investigation by the Hazlet Township Police Department, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Fedorka was taken into custody in Hazlet on Sunday, and was sent to the Monmouth County jail, Freehold Township. He is being held in lieu bail set at $200,000, set by state Superior Court Judge John T. Mullaney, Jr.
If convicted, Fedorka faces 10 to 20 years in prison.
