Neptune Wawa Sells Six-Figure Lottery Ticket

NEPTUNE, NJ - A lucky Wawa customer in Monmouth County took home a six-figure prize from the New Jersey Lottery last week, according to a lottery spokesperson.

The Corlies Avenue Wawa in Neptune sold one of two tickets that matched all five numbers drawn for the March 5 Jersey 5 jackpot drawing. Combined, the tickets totaled $586,024 in winnings. Each ticket garnered $293,012.

The other ticket was sold in Bergen County at a 7-Eleven in Ridgefield Park.

The winning numbers were: 02, 19, 35, 39, and 43 and the XTRA number was 04. The retailers will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket sold.
