New Opportunity to Volunteer at Historic Longstreet Farm
Like to garden? Come to Holmdel's Longstreet Farm next Friday, April 21 at 9 a.m. to learn about a new volunteering opportunity.

HOLMDEL, NJ - The Monmouth County Park System is inviting local gardeners to Historic Longstreet Farm, 44 Longstreet Road, Holmdel on Friday, April 21 at 9 a.m., to learn about a new volunteering opportunity at the site. Starting this spring, the Park System will be training a volunteer garden team dedicated to working in the farm’s vegetable and flower garden.
A living history farm, Longstreet Farm recreates life as it was in rural Monmouth County during the 1890s. Volunteers are asked to help in the garden and interact with visitors.
