NJ Weekend Weather: 80s Temps, Mostly Sunny Skies At Jersey Shore
Following a particularly rainy week, NJ is expecting a mostly sunny weekend with temperatures in the 80s. Here's what to expect.
JERSEY SHORE - Following a particularly rainy week, mostly sunny skies and high temperatures are expected to hit New Jersey moving into the weekend.
The National Weather Service says that Thursday and Friday should see temperatures in the low 70s with slight gusts of wind and minimal chances of precipitation before heat and humidity levels ramp up this weekend.
Save for some fog between Friday and Saturday night, visibility should be fairly clear for beachbound drivers this weekend. Friday may see showers in spots early in the morning, but any rain should clear up by the early afternoon, according to AccuWeather.

“Enjoy another day of cooler than normal temperatures before the heat and humidity find their way back into the region this weekend,” the NWS Mount Holly station tweeted Thursday.

Saturday and Sunday are expected to see temperatures rise into the 80s, according to AccuWeather. If you’re planning to head to the beach this weekend, make sure to pack your sunscreen as UV levels are predicted to be extreme.

Tonight: Increasing clouds, with a low around 61. North wind 10 to 15 mph.
Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 73. North wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south in the afternoon.
Friday Night: Fog after 2 a.m. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 68. South wind around 10 mph.
Saturday: Fog before 8 a.m. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high hovering 80. South wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 70.
Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 80.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 71.
