Obituary: Kathleen "Kay" Huelbig, 88, of Hazlet

Kathleen "Kay" Huelbig, 88, of Hazlet, NJ, died on May 15, 2013 in Eatontown, NJ. She was born and lived in Weehawken before moving to Hazlet in 1988. Kathleen worked as an Assistant Administrator for North Hudson Hospital and Palisades General Hospital, North Bergen for over 25 years retiring in 1988.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Raymond & Shawnn Huelbig of Cranston, RI; daughter & son-in-law, Kathy and John Devaney of Hazlet, and son & daughter-in-law JP and Jennifer Huelbig of Middletown; sister, Grace Richards of Trophy Club, TX; 9 grandchildren, Kelli, Kara, Kristen, Justin, Jason, Jenna, Michael, William, and Tamyko; 5 great grandchildren, Sean, Annabella, Ashley, Adryanna, and Alycia .

Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband Raymond in 2003; her parents James and Irene Thompson; brother, James Thompson; and sister, Rosemary Thompson.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 19, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday May 20, 2013 at 8:45 at the funeral home. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 9:30 am at Holy Family, 727 Hwy 36, Hazlet. Burial will follow at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.
