See The Fall Play At Holmdel High School Nov. 22, 23

Come see 9-12th grade students at Holmdel High perform "Acting Can Be Murder" on Nov. 22 and Nov. 23. It's a comedic murder mystery.

HOLMDEL, NJ — The Holmdel Theatre Guild, the drama club at Holmdel High School, will present "Acting Can Be Murder" by Eddie McPherson as their fall play this year. The comedic murder mystery follows Dolores Gordon, a life-long understudy who decides to finally get her moment in the spotlight by murdering Guinevere Black, the lead actress in the upcoming community theatre production.

Dolores hides Guinevere’s body in a wooden trunk that is used as a central set piece in the play, but later discovers the body is missing! Dolores must discover which of her quirky castmates may be on to her diabolical deed; and why Guinevere’s ghost appears to be following her around the theater.

"Acting Can Be Murder" is presented through special arrangement with Heuer Publishing. The production runs Friday, November 22 and Saturday, November 23 at 7:00 p.m. in the Holmdel High School auditorium. Tickets are $15 general; $12 seniors $5 students and available for purchase at the door.
