‘Several’ Unlocked Vehicles In Holmdel Burglarized Tuesday: Cops

Holmdel police are investigating several car burglaries that took place around Winding Brook Way early Tuesday morning.

HOLMDEL, NJ - A string of unlocked vehicles in Holmdel were burglarized early Tuesday morning, authorities said.

The Holmdel Township Police Department is investigating “several” motor vehicle burglaries in the Winding Brook Way neighborhood that occurred Tuesday around 5:30 a.m. There was no forced entry to the vehicles and only unlocked vehicles were rummaged through, police said.

In nearby Manalapan last week, a string of 25 car burglaries were also reported, all stemming from unlocked vehicles. Two car thefts were also reported.

“As always, we remind everyone to lock your vehicles and remove your keys/fobs and any valuables,” Holmdel police said.
