Union Beach Crash Prompts Rose Lane Route 36 Closure: DOT
Route 36 northbound lanes closed Friday due to a downed utility pole as a result of a motor vehicle crash, according to the New Jersey DOT.
UNION BEACH, NJ – Route 36 northbound lanes were closed Friday afternoon at Rose Lane in Union Beach, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation (DOT).
In a 2:43 p.m. Twitter post on Sept. 4, the DOT announced that all northbound lanes were closed at Rose Lane due to a downed utility pole as a result of a motor vehicle crash.
The DOT advises motorists to follow detours or plan an alternate route.

Update: All lanes on Route 36 northbound are open at Rose Lane in Union Beach as of Sept. 4 at 3:05 p.m.
