Water Main Break Closes Holland Road In Holmdel Wednesday
Holland Road in Holmdel is closed to vehicular traffic as of 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday due to a water main break. Here's where to avoid.
HOLMDEL, NJ - Holland Road in Holmdel is closed to vehicular traffic as of 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday due to a water main break, authorities said.
The main break, reported by the Holmdel Township Police Department via social media, closes the roads between South Holland and Laurel Avenue until further notice.
“NJ American Water will be on location for several hours to complete the repair,” the police department said.

Motorists are asked to follow the posted detour. NJ American Water may be contacted at 1-800-272-1325.
Earlier this month, a water main break was reported on June 24 on Williams Way off of Van Schoick Road. The road was "completely shut down due to the possibility of the roadway being undermined," police said.
