Weekend Events In Monmouth County: Sept. 11-13

MONMOUTH COUNTY – Although the coronavirus pandemic has canceled scores of events this summer, there are still plenty of safe activities in Monmouth County for friends and family.

Memorial services for the lives lost in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks will take place across the county on Friday from Union Beach to Wall Township. Read more: Remembering 9/11 Amid Coronavirus: Services In Monmouth County

Indoor dining in New Jersey recently resumed last week at 25 percent capacity and with social distancing between tables. Nearby establishments now open for indoor seating include Wahoo’s Fish Tacos in Middletown, Perkins Restaurant and Bakery in Hazlet and The Chapter House in Howell. Movie theaters and indoor performance venues are also permitted to reopen. Both Hazlet’s Cinemark 12 and Freehold’s AMC 14 are open for business.
