Woman Indicted After Allegedly Driving Under the Influence With Children in Car
Ella Richardson allegedly drove while under the influence with minors in the car, and attempted to wrestle a state trooper.

Ella Richardson of the Matawan Terrace apartments in Matawan was indicted this week in county court, after allegedly driving under the influence with children in the car.
Richardson was charged after she allegedly drove while under the influence of drugs and alcohol and crashed in Holmdel on July 2.Â
Richardson was taken to the state police barracks in Holmdel where she allegedly hit and attempted to wrestle with a female trooper.Â
Police allegedly found Richardson in possession of heroin and cocaine, in twenty wax folds, according to the initial arrest record.Â
Richardson was indicted on one count endangering the welfare of a child and one count of aggravated assault on a police officer.
An indictment does not indicate absolute guilt or a conviction. It only means that a county grand jury found there was enough evidence to proceed with a prosecution. Guilt or innocence will be tried and determined in a court of law.
