9/11 Memorial Service Monday Evening In Howell

The service remembers the five Howell residents killed on that sunny September day 16 years ago.

HOWELL, NJ — Howell Township residents are invited to gather at the 9/11 Memorial Monument on Monday evening for the annual 9/11 Memorial Service.

The monument is located at 251 Preventorium Road, Howell. The service begins at 6 p.m.

The service honors the memories of John Lennon Jr., Colin McArthur, John Rhodes, Joseph Sacerdote and Alan Wisnewski, the Howell residents who were among the victims of the attack.

The monument's five columns represent the five residents, and it pays tribute to the attacks at the Pentagon, the World Trade Center and the crash of United Flight 93 that was brought down in the Pennsylvania countryside.
