Howell Township Launches 'Shop Local' Contest, Prize Is $1K
How many local businesses can you get a receipt from? The most loyal Howell shopper will win the $1,000 grand prize.
HOWELL, NJ - How many local businesses can you get a receipt from? Howell Township is hosting a contest through the summer to find the most loyal Howell shopper.
The winner will win a $1,000 grand prize, with an additional $500 to be donated to the Howell Emergency Food Pantry.
Eligible participants must shop at a minimum of 10 different businesses, spend at least $100 and submit original receipts dated between June 15 and July 31.

Qualifying businesses pay real estate taxes to Howell.
The winner will be determined based on the number of receipts submitted, not the dollar amount spent. You must be 18 years or older but do not have to be a Howell resident.

Receipts can be dropped off at Investors Bank (4255 Route 9 North) between Aug. 2 and 7 with the entrant’s name on each receipt alongside an attached entry form.
Winner will be announced Aug. 16. The contest is sponsored by Investors Bank and the Howell Chamber of Commerce. More information can be found at www.howellchamber.com.
