Authorities Identify Man Who Died in Howell Trailer Fire

The cause of the blaze is still under investigation, authorities say

Authorities on Monday released the name of the man who died in a fire that broke out in his mobile home Sunday. 

Edward Reehil, 48, died in the Sunday morning blaze in his mobile home in the Oak Hill Trailer Park. He was the sole occupant of  trailer at Man O' War Lane and Seattle Slew Drive, according to Charles Webster, spokesman for the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.

The fire started in a bedroom of the trailer, Webster said, but the exact cause of the is still under investigation,

No other information was immediately available, Webster said. 

The fire broke out around 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Officials from the Monmouth County Sheriff's Department, Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office, and Medical Examiner's Office responded. Fire companies from Adelphia and Howell Township also, as well as Howell police.
