Devoted Mom, Loving 'Mama' Dies at 85

Anna E. “Mama” Bozenski, 85, of Jackson passed away on Tuesday at Kimball Medical Center.  

Anna was born and raised in Newark, and had lived in Roselle Park before moving to Jackson to raise her family.  She retired to Country Place, Lakewood and returned  to Jackson. Anna was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, Lakewood. She was a devoted mom and loving mama. 

Anna is survived by her daughter, Michele Bellomy and her husband, Glenn of Jackson; two granddaughters, Alexandra Bellomy and Erin Bellomy; and her brother, Matthew Prusecki of Arizona.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, Aug. 9 from 4 to 8 p.m.  Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Saturday, Aug. 10 at 9:30 a.m. for the procession to St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 43 Madison Ave., Lakewood for her 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass. Entombment to follow in St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Cemetery, Lakewood.
