Downed Tree Closes Route 33 In Howell
The closure is in the eastbound lanes near Route 34, officials said.
Motorists are being urged avoid the area of Route 33 at Route 34 in Howell after a tree has come down and taken down power lines with it Wednesday morning.
The state traffic website, 511mj.org, said the tree and lines are blocking eastbound Route 33 just east of Route 34 in Howell.
"All lanes are closed and detoured," the site said, and there are delays of 10 to 15 minutes getting through the area as a result.
