Drop Off Those Unused Prescription Meds

Howell Township, in conjunction with the federal Drug Enforcement Agency, has scheduled a prescription medication drop-off next week.

Residents are encouraged to drop off their unwanted or expired medication at the township’s Health and Human Services building, 450 Adelphia Road, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 27.  Everything collected will be disposed of safely.

The service is free. No questions will be asked.

It is the sixth time in three years the township has run the program, according to a release.
