Farmingdale Memorial Day Parade 2021: Starting Time, Route
The annual parade is set commemorate both military heroes and healthcare heroes during the COVID-19 pandemic. Here's how you can attend:
FARMINGDALE, NJ - After more than a year of holiday and festival cancellations due to the coronavirus pandemic, one of Monmouth County's most widely celebrated festivals has been given the green light to recommence in 2021.
Farmingdale's borough-wide Memorial Day parade will kick off this year at 1 p.m. on May 31 at Southard Avenue and Academy Street (see the full route below).
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the parade will be a ride-only event (without marching) to allow for social distancing. The parade route has been expanded and will traverse many borough streets to ensure that residents can view the parade safely, according to a municipal announcement.
