Frances Campione, Active Freehold Resident, Dies at 93
Visitation for Frances Campione begins Monday, Aug. 5 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home in Freehold.

Frances Campione, 93, of Freehold Township passed away at home surrounded by her family on Friday, Aug. 2.
Frances was born in Agira, Sicily and had lived in Newark before moving to Freehold Township in 1964. Frances was a member of the Freehold Township Shade Tree Commission and the Freehold Township Board of Elections for over 30 years. She was also a member of Ardena Baptist Church and was the founding member and former President of Amici Italian American Club of Freehold Township.
Frances was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Campione in 2001. She is survived by two sons, Former Monmouth County Freeholder and Deputy Mayor of Freehold Township Frank A. Campione and his wife, Dr. Gail Campione of Freehold Township and Robert Campione and his wife, Judy of The Villages, Florida; two daughters, Marianne Rego and her husband, Tony of Toms River and Olga Zarate of Freehold Township; two grandchildren, Denise Campione and Bob Campione; and her devoted Chloe and Cutie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Frances’s memory may be made to Ardena Baptist Church, 593 Adelphia Road, Freehold, NJ 07728 or a charity of your choice.
