Help Rex Find A Forever Home: Pet Of The Week

HOWELL, NJ - If you're thinking about adding a pet to your family, the Monmouth County SPCA has animals who need forever homes.

Patch is featuring one each week, and this week's pet is Rex.

Rex is a five-year-old dog from Philadelphia. He is a part of the SPCA’s canine foster program. This fun-loving pooch loves lazy mornings and lounging on the couch, but he’s always up for a long walk with his shelter buddies.

“Rex is outgoing, adventurous and loves car rides and trips to the beach,” reads his profile on the Monmouth County SPCA website. “This boy just loves to get his paws wet in the surf!”

Rex would do best as the only pet in a home with older teens or adults. He can be shy around new people at first, but he’s quick to warm up to new friends.

Adoption hours at the Eatontown location are Wednesday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday through Monday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
