Hotel Pitch Scheduled For Zoning Board Monday

Project targets Route 9 tract just off I-195

The Zoning Board is scheduled to hear for a second meeting a pitch to build a four-story hotel on Route 9 near Northwoods Place.

LIS Enterprises proposes to build a four-story, 109-room hotel with a 200-seat restaurant and a 400-seat conference and banquet facility just off the I-195 interchange at Exit 28, according to the board’s agenda.

The pitch was first heard on Jan. 28 but time expired before the presentation was finished, the agenda says.
