Howell J&J Vaccine Clinic Cancelled, Offers Pfizer Instead
Amid the CDC's 'pause' recommendation on J&J vaccines Tuesday, Howell moved its April 15 vaccination clinic to offer a two-dose shot.
HOWELL, NJ - Following a ‘pause’ recommendation on J&J vaccines from the Food and Drug Administration and Center for Disease Control and Prevention on Tuesday, Howell Township has announced that its April 15 vaccination clinic will be moved to CentraState Hospital in Freehold to offer residents a two-dose shot instead.
“At this time, Howell Township will NOT be holding the J&J vaccine event for this Thursday April 15, 2021, as that vaccine has been placed on hold,” a statement from the Howell Township Office of Emergency Management reads. “The vaccine clinic has been changed to CentraState Medical Center, where the Pfizer vaccine will be given.”
The vaccine center at CentraState is located in the Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus, 901 West Main Street, Freehold, NJ 07728. Any Howell resident who has received an appointment confirmation for April 15 from the township is now scheduled for an appointment time at CentraState.
