Howell Man With Autism Missing Since May: PD

HOWELL, NJ - Authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in an attempt to locate a Howell man with autism who was last seen May 19.

Yasin Barrett, 22, of the Toscana residential development off Fort Plains Road, was reported missing by family on June 1, Howell police wrote in a statement.

Barrett did not take his wallet or cell phone with him. His social media has not displayed any new activity since his disappearance, police said.

The resident was previously found in New York City, although this is “the longest he has not been seen or heard from,” police said. Howell police officers have since been in contact with the New York Police Department and Port Authority in an attempt to locate Barrett.
